Came to Ontario with my family from Nova Scotia couldn't find a fair prices motel and came across this place I walked in and was greeted by a very nice guy and he really helped me out told me alot about the area and the wildlife probably talked for an hour he was really nice we had a great chat we stayed in room 13 for a few nights the room was clean and it was very quiet the price is great it's a nice little town that's there too with everything you need within walking distance of the motel when I come back to the area again I'll be staying there.

My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights, February 23rd to 25th. The owner was really nice and calm. He had a nice smile and made us feel welcomed. We had a very clean room. It was warm and the bed and pillows were comfy. We didn't hear any noise while we stayed there. It's a really nice place and the prices are good! We'll definitely come back here!

I was totally delighted to stumble onto this hidden gem. Hidden because motels usually have a bad reputation but Alex has kept this motel in ship shape as the room was truly lovely. Alex was also very helpful at assisting me with a personal …

I was delightfully impressed with this motel. First of all Alex is very friendly and helpful. I was having a personal issue and he even assisted me with that. Who does that? Alex. Secondly when I entered my room I could not believe how beautiful it was. Alex put a lot of thought into selecting the beautiful designer art deco furniture and mirror.. Shower is ever so slightly fidgety but the temp and water pressure is fine. I was simply amazed at what a great deal this little hidden gem is. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, value with a new vintage appeal in Carlton Place.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise in terms of value for money. The room was clean, bright, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, allowing us to rest well after a long journey. The owner’s friendliness and warm hospitality added to our positive experience. I recommend it!

Best service ever. I called in for a booking cancellation and he was very sweet and considerate to cancel my booking. Honest person and a kind hearted soul. I can’t talk about accommodation as I did not stay at the time

The hotel is in a very good location Although the room was clean, it wouldn't appear as such due to the ill fitting tiles in the bathroom, the old carpet is exactly that, old. Thre room stank of old stale smoke which is very hard to take.
